Studying in Canada starts with a strong application.

Canada limits the number of study permits it issues each year, and IRCC officers carefully review your study plan, your financial resources, and your ties to your home country. An incomplete or poorly prepared application could cost you a semester, your spot at the school, and the money you’ve already invested.

As a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), I’ll help you review your profile before you apply, prepare your application materials, and submit an application that is clear and aligned with your goals.

Extension of the Study Permit

If you're already in Canada and your program is still ongoing, I'll help you extend your permit in time to maintain your status.

Changing Schools or Programs

We'll check whether your change requires a new permit or an update to your information, so as not to jeopardize your status or your future work permit.

Rejected Applications

We review your rejected application, the reasons for the rejection, and the officer's notes (GCMS) to determine what needs to be changed before you reapply.

Key Requirements for a Study Permit in Canada

Every case is different, but most applications require:

  • Letter of Acceptance from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI)

  • Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL), except for master's and doctoral degrees

  • Proof of Funds for Tuition and Living Expenses

  • Valid passport

  • Study Plan

Requirements and amounts are subject to change. Always check the official information from IRCC.

IRCC is much stricter with students these days

  • Fewer permits available. The cap for 2026 has been reduced to nearly half of what it was in 2025.

  • More scrutiny of your funds. Officers thoroughly verify the source of your money, not just the balance.

  • Stricter rules once you're in Canada. Changing schools or taking a break from your studies may affect your permit.

A poorly prepared application today is more likely than ever to be rejected.
