-
For legally married couples who wish to apply for permanent residence for the sponsored spouse. The application must demonstrate that the marriage is legal and that the relationship is genuine, through clear evidence of their history together, communication, cohabitation, travel, mutual support, and shared plans.
-
This category may apply when the couple has lived together in a conjugal relationship for the period required by IRCC. In addition to proving the relationship, it is important to adequately document their life together, for example through shared housing, finances, correspondence, photographs, and other joint commitments.
-
The “Spousal Partner” category is reserved for exceptional circumstances in which a couple is in a stable and committed relationship but faces significant barriers that have prevented them from marrying or living together. It is not an option for couples who have simply decided to live apart, and therefore requires careful evaluation.
-
It allows you to sponsor children who meet the immigration definition of a dependent. Eligibility may vary depending on age, marital status, and, in some cases, the existence of a physical or mental condition that has resulted in ongoing financial dependence.
-
If you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and would like to sponsor your parents or grandparents, I can assess your eligibility and advise you on the financial requirements and program conditions when the program is available. If sponsorship is not an immediate option, I can also review alternatives such as the Super Visa.
-
Under very specific circumstances, Canadian law allows individuals to sponsor other eligible family members, such as certain siblings, nephews, nieces, or orphaned grandchildren, among other cases provided for by law. Eligibility depends on very specific requirements and must be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
